First Flush Darjeeling Black Tea – 3.5 oz
100% organic First Flush Darjeeling Black Tea has a distinctive muscatel sweetness and aroma.
This type of black tea can be found at a certified Organic tea garden in the Kurseong district which is an hour away from Darjeeling.
The garden usually produces very strong types of teas. It is it called First Flush Darjeeling Tea because these type of tea are harvested during the first plucking of the year which happens from March to April. Usually the teas are more aromatic and lighter than the second flush. First Flush have been lower oxidized mainly for the purpose of preserving a greener leaf profile and to contain more tips, resulting to a complex consistency and bounce of flavor.

The Organic Imperative Trailer
Storm interviews organic farmers in this series of talks with the organic farmers from whom we at The Garden Diet and The Natural Paradigms Channels buy a lot of our food. Most of these farmers have been friends of Storm’s for over 20 years and so although the show is about organic farming, what really comes through in the subtext is the quality of the relationships. This series could almost be called “How to develop and maintain a deeply respectful relationship with the very special people who are dedicated to nurturing the food that nurtures us!” – I believe this series will be a lot of help to people looking to reconnect with their food supply and eat the highest quality of nutrients that can be obtained.
